About My Back Ground:

My first love was psychology in high school and college. In college, I took a death and dying course which resulted in me learning to fly. While in college I became a flight instructor. I received a Bachelors in Psychology and a Minor in Professional Pilot. After college I pursued a career in aviation where I flew for airlines, charter companies and corporations. After 18 years of flying I felt that I needed to do more meaningful work so I began working on becoming a counselor and family therapist.

About The Logo

The logo is an aircraft attitude indicator which depicts 10 degrees positive attitude. This attitude is a “go to” attitude when committed to flight at the end of the takeoff roll or when you decide not to land start a “go around”. You will notice the back ground of the attitude indicator is Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting. Sometimes in life when we face something unusual or new, we need to apply what we know to the unknown and then adjust and proceed. In flight you start with a positive attitude, it works in life as well.
